Securex e-commerce™
Today's vast and ever growing computer e-commerce Web sites are getting faster and more popular than ever before. The Internet is changing and revolutionizing the way companies, governments, countries and people transact business globally. What used to take weeks can now be done in less than 10 minutes thanks to modern technology used in the IT world. Our flexible, modular Securex e-commerce™ solutions rely on computer encryption technology. Besides firewalls, wich offer only a limited amount of security protection, the use of strong computer encryption technology today will insure your company or bank of the maximum level of security possible.
Securex e-commerce™ & the need for encryption keys
The sad news is, unfortunately, security built on static, reusable
passwords has proven easy for hackers to beat. Now that e-Business is so
prevalent in international commerce today and developing rapidly, the
need for rock-solid user authentication has never been more urgent.
One of our encryption solution is the GCIS Securex e-commerce™ solution. It consists
mainly of a two-factor Authentication based on something you know, IE:
(a password or PIN), and something you have (an authenticator),
providing a much more reliable level of user authentication than
reusable passwords. Performance and scalability are critical to our customer's
operations, and our security solutions have come to be well respected
and accredited in the industry. We use the strong encryption technology
from RSA Corp. RSA has a long background of experience in the development
of computer security, especially strong encryption technology. At GCIS,
our security solutions can have up to 1,024 bit of security.
Securex e-commerce™ & the Pentagone
To give you an idea of just how strong our Securex e-commerce™ solution is,
the US government currently has a ban preventing the sale and export
of this powerful technology outside the US and Canada. Under very special
circumstances, special agreements can be requested, but they all fall
under the "Weapons and Nuclear Arms Law" of the USA and is under the
strict supervision of the Pentagone and the CIA ! We are pleased to
report that the Center has received full authorization to complete it's
Securex e-commerce™ encryption solution.
Designed to work with current and emerging technologies, our Securex e-commerce™ and our full line of authenticator solutions are constantly expanding. A number of "smart card" versions are also available to fit the needs of organizations that are adopting smart card technology. Smart cards can combine network access credentials with physical access and also provide a secure option for the storage of private keys — the linchpin of PKI security (Public Key Encryption). These credentials include public and private cryptographic keys, X.509 digital certificates, symmetric file encryption keys and GCIS network operating system authentication information.
